Data and purposes
We process contact details, enquiries and information needed for quotes, collections, deliveries and services. For applications we process experience, languages, availability, driving-licence and work-authorisation information. Do not send identity or residence-permit documents at first contact.
Forms and tracking
Quote enquiries are sent to our business email. Applications include first and last names, date of birth, email and a work-authorisation answer, plus a required CV and optional motivation letter and additional document (PDF, DOC or DOCX, 5 MB per document). Attachments are checked on the server and attached to an email to info@alpway.ch. They remain in private PHP temporary files during processing and are deleted at the end of the request; no copy is saved in a public folder or website database. They are then retained in the mailbox and its backups under the applicable retention rules. Delivery tracking remains disabled: entering a reference does not query a carrier.
Support and complaints
Questions and support requests are sent to our business email with your contact details, message and, if provided, shipment or order reference. We use these details to respond and handle your request. Contract-related or disputed matters are retained according to the applicable obligations.
Hosting and recipients
Hostinger provides website hosting. Apple iCloud Mail provides business email, which receives enquiries and applications, including attachments. The website server is in France and hosting backups are in Lithuania. These locations concern website hosting and do not describe Apple iCloud Mail processing or backup locations. Access is limited to authorised people and providers needed to receive enquiries and applications. Necessary information may be shared with transport partners to arrange services or with authorities where legally required.
Technical data and security
Hosting may process IP addresses, connection times, requested pages and browser details for operation and security. Form rate limiting uses an identifier derived from the IP address and timestamps, without saving enquiry contents. These files expire after 24 hours and are cleaned during subsequent submissions.
Retention
Enquiries without a contract: up to 12 months after the last substantive exchange. Unsuccessful applications and documents: up to 3 months after rejection, except where needed for a dispute. Retention for future vacancies requires separate agreement and is limited to 12 months. Contractual and accounting documents follow applicable legal obligations. Backup copies follow the provider’s rotation cycle.
Cookies and external services
We do not add advertising or audience-measurement cookies. If you open WhatsApp, that service processes data under its own terms. Email and telephone remain available alternatives.
Your rights
Subject to Swiss data protection law, you may request access, correction or deletion at info@alpway.ch. Certain obligations may limit deletion. Proportionate identity verification may be necessary. You may also contact the FDPIC at www.edoeb.admin.ch.
